Mr. George Brown.

The interment took place at Wheatley Lane Burial Ground on Friday
last of Mr. George Brown, of 3. Regent Street. Brierfleld, who
died the previous Monday in Victoria Hospital, aged 78. Mr. Brown
had lived in Brierfield all his life, and worked at Edmondson's,
Hollin Bank, up to his retirement. He was an honorary member of
the Conservative Club and a life member of the Poultry Fanciers'
Club. Rev. A. S. Austin officiated throughout.
