Sir - In Burnley, there are still many streets of closely packed Victorian terrace properties.
In one district, there is a street which was originally given the name of Slagg Street. This
name was acceptable until the 1950s, when the residents petitioned the council for a change of
name, when it was agreed to rename it Windsor Street.
